The theme this Term is Magic and the kids in the after school classes are expressing their vision of what is Magical in to their creations. One of the beautiful things about artistic expression is that we all have our own ideas about things. And this is what makes us so unique, what makes the world interseting and what bring originality and inspiration to us all.

Traditionally, both the Alchemist and the Artist are keepers of notes, recipes, doodles and descriptions of their personal experiences and observations.

They love to keep private journals, sketchbooks and the like.

The private reference book you'll be creating in this workshop is a collection of inspiring images, notes about experiments and discoveries.

Summer Break

At the moment the Studio is closed for our annual Summer break
I am getting inspired, I prep classes and I rest up a bit with my family.

The School holidays are coming up fast now, I am offering a few options before Christmas for the mums that need some prep time ;) and of course for the kids to stay active before the lazy times begin. Also I am taking registrations for Term 1 2017 classes now, so get organised and let me know !

The recently extended studio proves to be so AMAZING ! 

the students are having such a great time, there is more space and it's lighter and brighter and still it's the cozy workshop it's always been. 

Just to get you all organized....Term 3 registrations are open and already filling fast, so if you feel like creating art next term, better be fast and don't miss out. Don't hesitate to contact me, just email or phone me.

wow, we are now halfway the term
 and the students are working hard and creating amazing things !

Love it when my inspirations rub off on them 
and seeing they actively engage and inspire themselves and the others 
and everybody starts growing their art more and more.

All the kids after school classes are working in their handbound alphabet sample books, lots of fun for them as well as myself trying to stay ahead of them and coming up with all the ideas for different techniques and styles
